TEHRAN – Intelligence Minister Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei stated that the anti-revolutionary elements detained during the recent unrests will not be released.

“The anti-revolutionary elements will not be released. The leaders and the decision-makers have not been released yet,” he told reporters on Monday.
The minister added that the detainees were of three categories: decision-makers, executors and anti-revolutionary elements.
“There were individuals who entered the scene and damaged the state and public properties. The police arrested some of them on the spot. Many of these individuals were released and some others may be released,” he added.
Mohseni-Ejei also pointed out that the enemies have targeted the heart of the Islamic system. “The enemy’s objective is still demolishing the Islamic Republic. However, it has not been successful in its policy. Thus, it aims to target the content and the essence of the Islamic Republic so that only a name remains of the Islamic Republic.”
The enemies have realized that they need some individuals within the country to carry out their orders, and thus recruited a number of individuals some of whom were arrested, he said
